The HX891BT portable VHF radio from Standard Horizon features GPS, enabling quick communication on a channel. Its screen displays very clear images, easy to read even in low light. The intuitive menu and clear symbols make using the radio simple, while night mode ensures optimal readability in the dark.
Transmission power of 6 W
The HX891BT portable VHF delivers a transmission power of 6 watts, which can also be set to 2 W or 1 W.
Integrated GPS antenna
The VHF includes a built-in WAAS GPS receiver with 66 channels, allowing you to make
DSC distress calls by transmitting distress information such as
GPS position with ultra precision.
The integrated GPS can also be used for
navigation, recording
waypoints (200 waypoints) and 20 routes.
Floating
The VHF is waterproof IPX8 and buoyant. When it falls into the water, a bright light automatically turns on: you won’t risk losing it.
Very long battery life of 17 hours with built-in lithium-ion battery
Equipped with a
1800 mAh lithium battery, the HX891BT VHF can operate for up to 11 hours.
Wireless Bluetooth earpiece option
With the optional STH-SSM-BT10 Kit, you can use the VHF with a wireless Bluetooth earpiece.
Data transfer
Data can be transferred, and updates installed via the micro-USB port.
