Description
The RCE+ charge distributors allow you to charge 2 or 3 batteries simultaneously from a single alternator without connecting the batteries together. Discharging the service battery, for example, will not cause the starting battery to discharge.
MOSFET Technology
The technology used, based on MOSFET transistors, ensures a negligible voltage drop between the input and the outputs. This is a major advantage over a diode distributor.
No Voltage Drop
Since there is no voltage drop due to the RCE+ distributor, there is no need to increase the alternator’s output voltage.
Multiple Voltages
The distributor works with 12 VDC or 24 VDC voltages and also allows for the use of LiFePO4 (Lithium) batteries.
2 Outputs
The RCE+ charge distributors are used to split an input power source (alternator, solar regulator, hydrogenerator, etc.) into two or three consumers (batteries, loads).
IGNITION ready
Some alternators require a DC voltage on the + output to start charging. Inserting a charge distributor will prevent any back voltage from the battery and the alternator will not start. The RCE+ has an IG input that will power the + output when the engine is started.
Interchangeability
The RCE+ is designed to be fully interchangeable with previous RCE models without any modifications.
