Kit #42494 is designed to attach to drill-adaptive auger bits (e.g. Pistol Bit)

The Quick Connect Kit allows you to quickly switch between bits without having to unbolt the auger from the powerhead. Simply raise the locking mechanism, twist out the old bit, and fasten in the new one—with no need for additional tools. The included Anchor Install Adapter connects the same way, and turns your auger into a versatile multi-tool to drill-in shelter ice anchors. The Quick Connect system also provides the option to separate the powerhead and bit during transport.

Features:
• Impact-Style Release System: Firmly holds the bit in place, while allowing impact-style bit swapping and eliminating the need for additional tools.
• Anchor Install Adapter: Kit includes the #43416 Anchor Install Adapter. This adapter is compatible with the Quick Connect portion of the kit, allowing you to connect it to a cordless drill or E40 powerhead. Quickly and easily install ice anchors this way, rather than installing them by hand.
• Durable Steel: Made with the same durable steel as our auger bits.

Adapters are available in two kits, depending on your auger type. This Kit #42494 is designed to attach to drill-adaptive auger bits (e.g. Pistol Bit), while kit #43409 is intended for use with electric augers (E40). See item 3902103.
