Being lead free, tungsten jigs can be used anywhere that fishing weights are legal.
The density of tungsten jigs makes them better at transmitting vibrations when hitting an object, influencing how well an angler can feel when fishing the bottom and detecting the various bottom conditions.
The denser tungsten jigs better transmit vibrations when striking rocks or other hard surfaces, sending out louder sounds that can attract fish more effectively.
